Kardeşler Uygur Mutfağı-The pulled noodles pull you in

Slowly and surely Uighur restaurants are popping up in Turkey's biggest cities. If you find yourself in Ankara, Kardeşler Uygur mutfağı is a must try. (full disclosure: it is the favorite restaurant in the city of this author). Picking one dish here is especially hard. Do I go with the çüçüre (a beef dumpling soup)? The Uygur Pilaf? The steamed buns with lamb and cumin? Ok this is cheating. Gun to my head, the one dish to try is the makarna kavurması. Thick, chewy, pulled noodles are pan fried with beef and a colorfull array of sweet peppers. This isn't really the kind of place to try just one dish, but get the noodles...and 6 other dishes.
